Am I the A-hole for wanting my friends to rarely help me with chores?

My roommates and I have been living together for about two years. We've made a decent agreement where we each take turns doing the laundry, but lately, it feels like I'm always the one doing the work. Last week, my friend just didn't care to do their part. I got really upset because they just acted like it wasn't a big deal. I told them that it was inconsiderate, and they said they were sorry. Now, they're saying I'm being a jerk. Am I really the asshole here?

Should I just let it go?
